Failures in CCTV Video Surveillance System will make the system can not work normally.Here we list the common failures for your reference.
1-Failure caused by power supply problems
The Possible reasons as below:
1)Power supply line or supply voltage is not correct
2)Power is not enough (or too much voltage attenuation on cable)
3)Power supply system transmission line short circuit, open circuit, instantaneous overvoltage and so on
It should be noted that power supply error or instantaneous overvoltage will lead to equipment damaged.Therefore,we must check carefully and strictly before supply power
2-Incorrect connection or connection error
As there are many cables connection during surveillance equipments,the improper connection between main equipments will cause open circuit, short circuit, poor line insulation etc. and make the equipments can not work,even damage them.In this case,we should analysis and troubleshooting according to the phenomenon of failures,to determine which line connection problems may occur which kind of failure. In addition, it should be noted that the system equipments and lines connection should reach the long time running requirements.
3-Space radiation interference caused by the transmission lines
The interference phenomenon is frequently caused by the presence of a stronger space radiation source near the transmission system,the front-end system or the central control room. The solution to this situation is to do a comprehensive understanding of the surrounding environment before building the system, and try to avoid or away from the radiation source. When the radiation source can not be avoided,we can strengthen the shield for front and center equipments,adpot pipelines to protect the transmission lines and make sure the pipes are well grounded.
4-Impedance characteristic of transmission cables are not matched
It may result in a number of vertical disturbances on the monitor screen, and the frequency of the interfering signal is substantially an integer multiple of the horizontal frequency. This interference phenomenon is caused by the characteristic impedance and distribution parameters of the video cable that can't meet requirements.For such interference should try to make the impedance of every equipments in the system are matched.Especially when choosing video cables,must ensure the cable quality, if necessary, the cable should be sampled for testing.
5-Image contrast of monitor is small,the image color is light
If it's not the problem of control host and monitors,we need consider it's the problem of large voltage attenuation on cables due to long distance transmission. In this case,need add amplification compensation device in the system.
6-Sharpness of image is not high,details are lost
Even occur color signal loss,color saturation is too small etc.,which maybe caused by too much loss of high-frequency(more than 3MHz ) image signal during long distance video signal tramsmition and no amplification compensation device in the middle;Or because the distribution capacitor of video transmission cable is too large;Or because there is concentrated distribution equivalent capacitance between the core and shield of transimission cables.
